This is one of my favorites. I drink a smoothie for breakfast on my way to work or to the gym almost every day. It is quick and portable and gives me enough protein to get through the morning.
COFFEE SMOOTHIE
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup of the milk of your choice (I use Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk)
1 scoop of vanilla or chocolate protein powder of your choice
1 medium-size banana (frozen if desired)
2 TBSP unsweetened cocoa powder (I use a product called Rogue Cocoa for extra caffeine. You can also use regular cocoa if you do not want the caffeine.)
4 frozen coffee ice cubes
5-6 ice cubes (If the banana is not frozen)
STEPS:
Freeze brewed coffee in an ice cube tray till completely frozen.
Put all of the ingredients in your blender and blend until smooth and all the ice is incorporated.
